For all foreign visitors, we can arrange to pick you and escort you to the University if you meet the following criteria:
for foreign visitors arriving by road through any of the Motor Parks in the city, you arrive on the official “Arrival Day” which is 'yet to be confirmed'.
for foreign visitors arriving by air via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, you arrive between 'yet to be confirmed'.
you have submitted an airport pick-up request via the Human Resources Unit (hr@aust.edu.ng).
If you have booked an airport pick-up request, there will be a member of staff (or a bus driver) assigned to you, to pick you on your arrival outside the Arrival point at the airport.
Destinations are only to the University Campus. If you need to get to another destination, you can stay on the bus until it reaches the campus where you can then order a taxi, Bolt or UBER (the tariff is subject to your preferred location).
If you are arriving at any time other than 'yet to be confirmed' we will not be able to pick you, but please let us know your expected arrival date and time (via hr@aust.edu.ng), so that we can track your journey and if you have a room on campus, we will make sure your key is ready for you. We will try to have a member of staff available to meet you on your arrival at the campus, but this depends on your arrival time and staff availability.
